This unique Imperial Gallic 'C' SISAK Helmet (complete bar the brow reinforce) was found in the River Kupa at Sisak, Croatia. It features very distinctive cheek guards and no applied ear guards. The edging of the neck guard continues around the ear opening. It is dated to the Early-mid First Century AD. The original helmet is on display at Zagreb. This helmet is fully wearable and perfect for reenactments, role-playing, costumes, and is a must have for collectors and historical enthusiasts. Due to the hand-made nature of this item, slight differences in size and finish can be expected, making it a truly unique one of a kind collector's piece. The inner circumference of this helmet varies slightly, but is around 24 inches.
